What Trump Must Do

America's Not Dead Yet!

Republicans will likely take the presidency, the Senate and the House. This is an extraordinary opportunity. We should advance sound policy and we also must take this opportunity to implement measures that break the Democrats’ institutional advantages.

Fight the school monopoly

Schools are one of the most important pieces of the Left’s indoctrination system. They churn out millions upon millions of far-left radicals. Many of the things that are taught in schools are lies, or are so misleading so as to amount to lies. Fighting back against the Left’s stranglehold on schools is good policy and it will redound to the benefit of conservatives because we can put a dent in the ability of schools to indoctrinate youth into leftist philosophy.

Over the past few years, many states have passed school choice bills which allow alternative schools to receive the same state funding per pupil as government schools. This has been a massive leap forward but we need to go much farther in order to make a serious dent in the Left’s stranglehold over education.

• A bill currently making its way through Congress would create a federal school voucher program. The bill would give parents a tax credit to offset school tuition expenses.

• Break up the teacher credentialing monopoly. The graduate programs which train teachers are ideologically captured. We should pass reforms at the state and federal levels to

• Revoke the NEA’s federal charter. The NEA is the only labor union with a federal charter. Public sector unions exist to embezzle money from state budgets and direct it towards Democrat campaigns.

Gut the Administrative State

Trump’s Schedule F plan would allow the President to fire and replace thousands of federal workers who have secured sinecures for themselves in the administrative Blob known as the Deep State. This plan is extremely important. Where possible, entire agencies should be closed, but where immediate closure of an agency is not reasonably practical, as many employees as possible should be fired and replaced with our people.

The Left accuses Trump of wanting to fire “nonpartisan” federal workers and replace them with “loyalists”. But the people who work in the Deep State are not nonpartisan. They are hyperpartisan. They are committed Leftists. We want to replace them with people who will actually respect the rights of Americans. When the Left accuses Trump of trying to “politicize” the civil service, the Left is accusing Trump of doing exactly what the Left itself has been doing for decades.

End Birthright Citizenship and deport illegal immigrants

Birthright citizenship can probably be ended by executive order. Trump’s messaging on the issue should highlight “birth tourism,” the practice in which pregnant women fly to the United States and rent an apartment for a few months to give birth just so that the child will get US citizenship. Birth tourism makes up only a tiny percentage of total immigration, but it is a great illustration of the unfairness of the current immigration system.

Trump’s team has promised mass deportations starting on day one. I hope they will follow through, but as I have explained elsewhere, there’s better alternative to physical deportation: encourage self-deportation by giving incentives. It is already illegal to knowingly hire illegal immigrants. The federal government should pass a law that allows anyone to sue someone who employs an illegal immigrant for $50,000. The illegal immigrant himself would be allowed to file this lawsuit against his own employer, on the condition that he cannot receive the payout until he is back in his home country. The effect of this law would be that no employer would want to hire an illegal immigrant. Illegal immigrants who are already here would receive financial compensation to move back to their home country. The cost of the program would fall on the criminal employers who enticed the illegal immigrants to come in the first place.

The border can be secured by re-implementing the Remain in Mexico policy.

Where possible, Federal authority should be used to filter immigrant groups by their likely political affiliations. Immigration from Cuba and Vietnam should be allowed since those groups tend to vote Republican. Immigration from all other countries should be restricted as much as possible.

Pass a Voting Rights Act which requires voter ID in all elections

There are already federal laws which regulate how states conduct their elections, such as the Voting Rights Act of 1965. Now that Republicans have a trifecta they should pass a law mandating voter ID in every federal, state and local election. People who are too irresponsible and stupid to obtain an ID should not vote, and mandatory ID will be a slight benefit to Republicans.

Republican Pride

This sounds silly, but we as Republicans need to launch an “out and proud” initiative similar to the one homosexuals used in the 1970s and 80s. In many blue areas, being a conservative is taboo. Since people tend to conform to strongly enforced social taboos, there are probably many millions of voters who would be willing to vote Republican if the social stigma around being a Republican were reduced. Republican activists can take the lead on this without involvement from the official government.

Lay the Groundwork for National Divorce

Due to the ongoing colonization of America by nonwhite immigrants, the GOP will eventually become uncompetitive at the national level. Trump’s 45% vote share among Hispanics is impressive, but a 45 - 55 is a big loss. If the electorate were majority nonwhite, Trump would have lost. If we want to carve out a piece of the world in which our vision of the good life can exist, there are two options:

1. Remove White liberals from America.

2. Stop and reverse nonwhite immigration to America.

These two paths, or some combination of them are the only ways we can avoid a future where we are forced to live in a dystopian hellscape, ruled over by people who hate us. The left wing vision of the future is the Eternal Kindergarten, the death of everything noble and beautiful, Man’s regression from an adult to a permanent child, from whose spirit every transcendent and heroic impulse will be smothered and eradicated.

Part 3 already dealt with immigration. Another way we could maintain a majority is to negotiate a land transfer between America and Canada. It sounds silly today, but think of how much of our current politics would have sounded silly in the pre-Trump era of 2012! Floating the idea from the bully pulpit moves it into the Overton window.

Here’s a map of the results of a recent Canadian election. The party colors in Canada are the reverse of what they are in the US, so red represents the left wing party and blue represents the right wing party.

The Provinces of Alberta, Saskatchewan and Manitoba consistently vote Conservative. Trump should float the idea of an exchange of the Prairie provinces of Canada for parts of the American Northeast.

The Prairie provinces: Alberta, Saskatchewan, and Manitoba have a combined population of about 6.5 million. The states of Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts have a combined population of about 10 million.

Liberals sometimes threaten to move to Canada if they lose an election. We can do them a favor and make them part of Canada without them having to go to the trouble of moving! Vermont and Massachusetts voted for Kamala Harris by the highest margins of any state. Maine, New Hampshire, Vermont and Massachusetts have 22 electoral college votes combined, so removing them from the Union would benefit Republicans in future Presidential elections.

Another less ambitious way to lay the groundwork for national divorce is to make states as self-sufficient as possible. Declaring independence from the United States would be a dramatic symbolic gesture which would trigger fierce opposition from the Democrat-controlled parts of the Regime. But de facto secession can be quietly achieved by nullifying federal laws one by one. We already have a framework for this in the blue state nullification of federal marijuana laws. If red states can nullify more and more federal laws and become more and more self-sufficient, we can reach a point where red states are independent in all but name. At that point it probably wouldn’t be too difficult to achieve explicit independence if we wanted it because at that point explicit independence would just be symbolic acknowledgment of on the ground reality.

Pivot to an anti-Turkey, anti-Qatar, Cuban liberation, Venezuelan liberation foreign policy.

The Trump faction of the GOP has always been hostile to the neocon warhawk faction of the GOP which used to be represented by the Bushes and now is represented by Nikki Haley and Glenn Youngkin. Many Trumpists including me wish we didn’t have to work with that faction at all - but that’s unrealistic. A large number of voters sincerely support interventionist foreign policy, arms manufacturers are influential and the pro-war faction isn’t going anywhere. We can’t totally repudiate Nikki Haley supporters and then expect them to still vote for us.

Instead of totally exiling the warhawk faction, we should invite them to direct their energies towards new targets. Instead of dangerous brinksmanship with Russia and China, we should encourage them to pursue safer goals like Cuban liberation.

The President should sponsor a group of Cuban Americans who form a Cuban Liberation Militia. The militia should have carte blanche to attack the Castro regime however they see fit. The militia should be made up entirely of Cuban Americans and they should receive free training and weapons from the U.S. military. If they succeed in deposing Castro, Cuba should have the choice of becoming independent or becoming the 51st US state (or 47th state after Main, Vermont, New Hampshire and Massachusetts have been removed). Cuba has a population of 11 million which would translate to 16 electoral votes, likely safe R.

Confrontation with Iran is dangerous because Iran is a close ally of Russia. The powerful Israel lobby wants a confrontation between the US and Iran, but the Israelis might be satisfied with more US pressure against Qatar and Turkey, both of which are adversaries of Israel. Qatar also funds the news agency Al Jazeera which promotes the most distilled form of evil, third-worldist leftism. Taking out Al-Jazeera by bankrupting or destroying the Qatari government would be a boon to humanity.

In addition to being an adversary of Israel, Turkey organizes the influx of middle-Eastern colonists into Europe and the Turkish government weaponizes the Turkish diaspora against Europeans. Globalists who see American foreign policy as a crusade for “democracy” hate Erdogan because he has made Turkey less democratic. So the pro-Israel faction, the Globalist faction and pro-white voices on the right should all be in favor of applying pressure to Turkey.

Replace Thomas and Alito

Clarence Thomas is 76 and Samuel Alito is 74. Both men have served the country well. It is now time for them to retire in glory and make way for two young new Trump appointees who will lock in a conservative majority on the Supreme Court for decades.

Pardon Edward Snowden, January 6th prisoners and Ross Ulbricht. Wave the bloody shirt of Douglas Mackey

Pardon the January 6th prisoners and Ross Ulbricht. It would be great if he pardoned Edward Snowden as well but that would face more pushback within the Republican party. Pardoning these people turns them into permanent national heroes, which would greatly help the Republican brand. It’s also the right thing to do.

As of this writing betting markets show a 75% chance that Trump will pardon Russ Ulbricht and a January 6th prisoner. The chance that he will pardon Edward Snowden is 15%.

Pardon Douglass Mackey and highlight the fact that other political activists did exactly the same thing as Mackey, but in support of Clinton instead of Trump. Make a public show of it. The goal is to make sure that everyone in America learns that Mackey was persecuted for political reasons by a rogue, thuggish Democrat regime which has absolutely no respect for the 14th amendment, democratic institutions or the rule of law.

Even better: investigate the corrupt DOJ officials who prosecuted Mackey. Suspend their law licenses and disgrace them in the press. Prosecute them for deprivation of rights under color of law. If you can, put them in prison. Let every scumbag lawyer in the Democrat party see members of their clique in a prison yard.

The Mackey case should be a national scandal. It is substantially worse than the Pentagon Papers, Iran Contra or Fast and Furious. For decades, Republicans have allowed the leftist mainstream media to determine what becomes a national scandal and what doesn’t. We need to stop doing that. We should force the Mackey case into the public eye.

The Mackey case is an especially strong point to push on because mainstream liberals are embarrassed by the Mackey case and will hesitate to defend the Federal government’s actions. Even the Harvard Law Review admitted that the prosecution of Mackey is unjust. Not too much credit should be given to the Harvard Law Review. Like Regime apologists everywhere, it focuses on the stated reasons for prosecution and refuses to discuss the actual reasons for prosecution. It premises its description of the case on the lie that Mackey is being prosecuted for misleading voters in general when in reality Mackey is being prosecuted for misleading Hilary Clinton’s voters specifically. The Harvard Law Review leaves out the crucial fact that left-wing influencers did exactly the same thing as Mackey, but he was prosecuted and they were not.

Correct the 2020 Census miscalculation.

Re-evaluate electoral college votes and house districts. It has recently come to light that the 2020 census contained miscalculations which allotted too many districts and votes to blue states and not enough districts and votes to red states. If Harris had won, this would have somewhat undermined the democratic legitimacy of her election.

Now that the Republicans will be back in power, they must correct the error ASAP. Doing so will strengthen Republicans’ position for 2028.

Prosecute anti-white discrimination.

Stephen Miller has already done great work in this area. His law firm America First Legal sued the Biden administration over explicitly race-based cash payments which the Biden admin wanted to give to Black farmers. Miller seems poised to continue this work. Most Americans simply don’t know the facts about state-sponsored racial discrimination against Whites.

The Trump administration should sue universities which create a “hostile environment” for white students. They should also use the bully pulpit to call out anti-white hatred, but that’s a subject for another post.
